Our commitment

The Florida Independent Living Council (FILC) is committed to ensuring equal access to our website and digital content for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and applicable Florida accessibility laws.

Grievance Procedure

If you believe you have been denied access to a FILC program, service, or communication due to a disability, you may file a grievance. Contact us using the information below to request a copy of our grievance procedure or to submit a complaint. FILC will work to resolve all grievance submissions promptly and in good faith.

Language Access

FILC is committed to providing meaningful access to individuals with limited English proficiency. If you need materials or assistance in another language, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
